2021 Disaster Resources for Nashville Artists, Creatives and Arts Organizations

After the tornadoes and storms that tore through Tennessee and surrounding states in the early hours of December 11, 2021, Metro Arts is gathering disaster and recovery resources for Nashville-area artists, creatives and partner organizations.

We will continue to edit and add to this list. If you have a resource to suggest, please email arts@nashville.gov.

This is such an essential compilation of resources for our creative community during these tough times. Having all these emergency grant links in one place really speeds up the recovery process. I’ve been using MarkdownCo Pro to turn these resource lists into a well-structured PDF guidebook for the local artists in my studio building. It’s been incredibly helpful for making sure everyone has access to this information in a clean, readable format.

Thank you Metro Arts for keeping this list updated. The relief options for musicians and fine artists are life-saving. I've drafted a simplified version of these disaster assistance steps in Markdown to share with my non-profit arts group. For Free Markdown Flow made it so easy to convert my Markdown draft into a professional Word document that I could print and distribute at our community meeting. Truly a helpful tool for local advocacy!
