Community Arts Leaders (CAL) of Nashville

Applications are now open for the Spring 2027 Community Arts Leaders (CAL) of Nashville Internship Program. CAL connects undergraduate students with paid internship opportunities at Nashville-based arts organizations while also providing one-on-one mentorship from local arts professionals and professional development experiences. The program helps students gain hands-on experience in the arts sector while supporting local organizations and strengthening connections across Nashville's creative community.

 

Who Can Participate?

CAL brings together three groups of participants:

• Interns: Undergraduate students seeking paid, hands-on experience in the arts and nonprofit sectors.

• Host Sites: Nashville-based arts-focused nonprofit organizations that provide meaningful internship experiences and workplace learning opportunities.

• Mentors: Local arts professionals and arts administrators who share their knowledge, experience, and connections with participating students.​
