Poetry in Motion Rolls on for 2020, with a Few Revisions

April is National Poetry Month, and in Nashville (along with other cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.) that means Poetry in Motion ®.
For the eighth year running, Metro Arts has partnered with WeGo Transit, Southern Word and The Porch Writers’ Collective to infuse Nashville’s public transit with poetry. This year’s celebration looks a little different because of social distancing and safety recommendations, but we're still sharing the power of poems with Nashvillians.
Southern Word engaged students in a poetry contest centered on the theme “A 2020 Vision of Nashville,” while The Porch Writers’ Collective commissioned poetry from adult Nashville writers.
Winning and commissioned poems will be featured on the wrapped exterior and the interior advertising placards of the WeGo “Poetry Bus” - snap a photo and tag us if you spot the Poetry Bus in the wild! WeGo has also created a commemorative brochure featuring all of the 2020 poems.
Southern Word has moved their Cyphers--live, spoken-word poetry/rap/DJ performances traditionally held at WeGo Central, online to provide poetry to Nashvillians staying “safer at home.” Save the date for the Cyphers below!
What’s more, The Porch has compiled all of this year’s featured poems in a zine, “Next Stop: Spring,” available online and in print on some WeGo buses. View the zine and immerse yourself in local poetry now!

Gần đây mình thấy khá nhiều người nhắc đến 79King nên cũng dành chút thời gian vào xem thử dưới góc độ kỹ thuật. Do thường xuyên làm việc với các công cụ kiểm thử tự động nên mình khá quan tâm đến cách website tổ chức DOM, đặt class và xây dựng các selector phục vụ việc tương tác. Ấn tượng ban đầu là giao diện được thiết kế khá gọn gàng, cấu trúc trang mạch lạc, các thành phần điều hướng phản hồi ổn định và không xuất hiện những lớp quảng cáo hay cửa sổ bật lên gây gián đoạn trải nghiệm. Đứng từ góc độ của một người hay xử lý frontend, mình lướt nhanh để check cách nền tảng này chia các component và quản lý trạng thái. Bài viết này có bố cục khá dễ theo dõi khi phần nhắc đến nhà cái uy tín được đặt ở giữa nội dung. Điều đó giúp mạch bài trở nên tự nhiên hơn và không tạo cảm giác quảng cáo quá sớm. Nội dung tập trung vào trải nghiệm chung của người dùng với giao diện dễ sử dụng và nhiều danh mục quen thuộc như slot, game bài hay mini game. Nhìn chung cách diễn đạt khá nhẹ nhàng và dễ hiểu.
Hôm trước mình lướt thử Xoilac vì thấy mọi người bàn tán, vào chủ yếu xem họ làm giao diện ra sao thôi. Mình không phải dân rành kèo nên thích kiểu trình bày dễ nhìn hơn là số liệu phức tạp. Cái mình thấy ổn là bảng kèo bóng đá trực tuyến chia cột rõ ràng, có giờ trận đấu rồi tách phần cả trận với hiệp 1 nên nhìn phát là biết đang xem mục nào. Với lại có đoạn giải thích “kèo nhà cái là gì” viết khá bình dân, đọc vài dòng là hiểu nhà cái đưa tỷ lệ để người chơi dựa vào. Cuộn xuống không bị rối, mấy khối nội dung tách bạch và bảng…
