Poetry in Motion Rolls on for 2020, with a Few Revisions

April is National Poetry Month, and in Nashville (along with other cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.) that means Poetry in Motion ®.
For the eighth year running, Metro Arts has partnered with WeGo Transit, Southern Word and The Porch Writers’ Collective to infuse Nashville’s public transit with poetry. This year’s celebration looks a little different because of social distancing and safety recommendations, but we're still sharing the power of poems with Nashvillians.
Southern Word engaged students in a poetry contest centered on the theme “A 2020 Vision of Nashville,” while The Porch Writers’ Collective commissioned poetry from adult Nashville writers.
Winning and commissioned poems will be featured on the wrapped exterior and the interior advertising placards of the WeGo “Poetry Bus” - snap a photo and tag us if you spot the Poetry Bus in the wild! WeGo has also created a commemorative brochure featuring all of the 2020 poems.
Southern Word has moved their Cyphers--live, spoken-word poetry/rap/DJ performances traditionally held at WeGo Central, online to provide poetry to Nashvillians staying “safer at home.” Save the date for the Cyphers below!
What’s more, The Porch has compiled all of this year’s featured poems in a zine, “Next Stop: Spring,” available online and in print on some WeGo buses. View the zine and immerse yourself in local poetry now!

একদিন অনলাইনে ব্রাউজ করার সময় HI77 সম্পর্কে জানতে পারি এবং সাইটটির চেহারা দেখার জন্য প্রবেশ করি। সেখানে খুব বেশি সময় কাটাইনি, শুধু পৃষ্ঠার বিন্যাস ও বিভাগগুলোর অবস্থান দেখেছি। সামগ্রিকভাবে ডিজাইনটি বেশ পরিপাটি মনে হয়েছে। প্রতিটি বিষয় আলাদা জায়গায় রাখা হয়েছে বলে তথ্য পড়তে সুবিধা হয়। পাশাপাশি প্রধান মেনুগুলো সহজে চোখে পড়ে, যা এক পৃষ্ঠা থেকে অন্য পৃষ্ঠায় যাওয়ার সময় কাজে আসতে পারে।
TK999 নামটি অনলাইনে দেখার পর কৌতূহল থেকে ওয়েবসাইটটি পরিদর্শন করেছিলাম। আমার উদ্দেশ্য ছিল মূলত এর ইন্টারফেস কেমন এবং তথ্যগুলো কীভাবে সাজানো হয়েছে, তা দেখা। পৃষ্ঠায় প্রবেশের পর লক্ষ্য করলাম, বিভিন্ন বিষয়কে আলাদা অংশে ভাগ করা হয়েছে। এতে এক নজরে পুরো সাইটের কাঠামো সম্পর্কে ধারণা পাওয়া যায়। মেনু ও অন্যান্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশের অবস্থানও মোটামুটি পরিষ্কার, তাই পছন্দের বিভাগ খুঁজতে অযথা ঘোরাঘুরি করতে হয় না।
সম্প্রতি ইন্টারনেটে CK33 সম্পর্কে কিছু আলোচনা দেখে সাইটটি খুলে দেখার আগ্রহ হয়েছিল। সেখানে প্রবেশ করে প্রথমে সামগ্রিক লেআউট এবং তথ্য উপস্থাপনের ধরন পর্যবেক্ষণ করি। পৃষ্ঠার বিভিন্ন অংশ আলাদা করে সাজানো হয়েছে, ফলে সবকিছু একসঙ্গে জটলা পাকিয়ে যায়নি। মেনুগুলো চোখে পড়ার মতো জায়গায় থাকায় প্রয়োজনীয় বিভাগ খুঁজে পেতে খুব বেশি সময় লাগে না। সাধারণভাবে দেখলে নেভিগেশন বেশ সহজবোধ্য।
